Lorem Rey

Okay, the rumours are true. Lorem is a pseudonym I've been using because that's just what you did on the internet when I was growing up. I'm from Bulgaria and currently live in London where I attended university and now work full time as an architect. I've been drawing forever, but I didn't start making comics until around 2021. Before that I was primarily honing my skills copying the masters (drawing fan art of my favourite fictional characters), and hand-drawing my architecture projects (a slightly unhinged thing to do in the age of computer modelling). I love making these comics because they are a king of a personal challenge for me; a means of conveying my thoughts & ideas, and a way of processing feelings. I love the possibilities of combining words with drawing. I love humour too, I love silliness, and I love sadness — it all makes me feel alive. I hope these comics will make you feel a little more alive too, and perhaps a little bit happier being so.
